Scene 1: Punggol
The speeding car went "whoosh", followed by "bump". Then there was a "screech".
B got hit by a car. He steadied his new MTB, and his shaking legs, and continued riding.
Nope, he didn't fall off, didn't crash.
Nope, there was no cursing, or swearing.
Instead we had a discussion about rats in a coffeeshop in Hougang later.
The story is that if we keep adding more and more rats to a confined space, they will start to kill and cannibalize each other. Singapore is a place with a lot of unhappiness.
Later we talk about the stock market as an investment vehicle. I can help people retire very rich, but very slowly. And yes, the path is fraught with ups and downs, but we'll get there eventually. Up to now, I have yet to figure out how to get rich fast. Drop me a note if you know how.
